Inside the Museum d'Orsay
Paris as a feeling to it, romantic, hip and exclusive. I
loved Paris like so many city's in Europe it reminds you of a
movie you have watched. I think that is most likely because
so many sights have been in movies.

Venus de Milo in Louvre
The museums in Paris were simply wonderful, the gardens are
spectacular. Food in Paris is also wonderful and we
preferred a small bistro to the more upscale.

Inside the Louvre
I like the people in Paris and had a great time. Paris
reminds me of New York, everyone is in a hurry and people have a
place to go. Sit yourself in a cafe or bar and enjoy the
sights and take in a smile or two. Paris is one place I wish
I spent more time in.

On the streets of Paris
Long considered the paragon of style, Paris is the most glamorous
city in Europe. It is at once deeply traditional – a
village-like metropolis whose inhabitants continue to be notorious
for their hauteur – and famously cosmopolitan

Inside the Museum d'Orsay
As you can see this portion of the museum was once a railroad
station.

Arc de Triomphe
Engraved around the top of the Arch are the names of major
victories won during the Revolutionary and Napoleonic periods. The
names of less important victories, as well as those of 558
generals, are to found on the inside walls. Generals whose names
are underlined died in action.
Beneath the Arch is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and
eternal flame commemorating the dead of the two world wars. |

Luxembourg Garden
Camera lens: on this trip I used a Nikkor 28-200mm D lens.
Not liked by many but is quite useful when you want the all in one
lens. I now use a Nikkor 24-120mm VR lens as my all in one
lens.
