Over looking the Duomo

In Florence I felt like I was walking back into history.  Similar to Rome I could not help but notice the significant historical sights.

Shop at the Ponte Vecchio or at the open air markets. Visit the Duomo take a tour of the Uffizi Museum plenty to do while in Florence.

Visit Michelangelo's David located in the museum Galleria dell'Accademia. When I first saw it I sat on a bench just looking up at for a half hour.  I was amazed by it and how the light fell upon it.

Florence like Rome is a small city and perfect to walk around and explore.

Our Hotel was tucked away on this side street and could be a little scary coming in at night.  Well it just looked scary and all was well.
